What is a Lead Center?

The Lead Center is responsible for guiding, managing, and sustaining the SBDC grant program across the region on behalf of the U.S. Small Business Administration. The Lead Center works contractually with service centers to deliver SBDC services and technical assistance to business owners.

What is a Service Center?

Service Centers are principle locations where training and/or one-on-one consulting services are delivered on a regular basis and often managed by an SBDC Director, along with administrative and consulting staff.

What is an Outreach Center?

Outreach Centers are non-principle locations where training and/or one-on-one consulting services are delivered on an irregular basis and often managed by third party partner to the SBDC program (i.e.- Chamber of Commerce, City, or County, etc.)
